Is this telehealth or a vet replacement?

Neither. Vet Buddies doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or replace your vet. Your Buddy is a trained veterinary professional who helps you stay organized, ask better questions, and navigate care between visits — all under the supervision of Dr. Rodgers, DVM.

What if my pet has an emergency?

Go to your nearest emergency vet immediately. Vet Buddies is not an emergency service. But after the emergency, your Buddy is there to help you make sense of what happened, follow discharge instructions, and coordinate with your regular vet.

What states do you serve?

Dr. Rodgers is licensed in Colorado, Texas, Florida, Utah, and Illinois. Because Vet Buddies is a care coordination service (not a clinical practice), we can work with pet owners in most states — but DVM oversight is licensed in those five.

How quickly will I hear from my Buddy?

Your Buddy will reach out within 48 hours of signup. After that, response times depend on your plan — but most messages get a reply within a few hours during business days. Your Buddy also proactively checks in, so you won't always have to reach out first.

Can I try it before I commit?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial with full access to your Buddy, messaging, and your Living Care Plan. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.

What if I'm not sure which plan to pick?

Start with whichever feels closest to your situation — you can upgrade or downgrade anytime, and the change takes effect at your next billing cycle. Most owners start with Buddy+ and adjust from there.
