Dr. Jake Rodgers holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and is licensed across multiple states. He has practiced in general practice, urgent care, and emergency settings — giving him a breadth of clinical experience that informs how Vet Buddies approaches proactive pet health. Vet Buddies is a concierge membership — not pet insurance. We provide ongoing support, guidance, and dedicated care. Emergency surgery, diagnostics, and hospitalization are not included, but we'll always help you navigate those situations and find the right resources.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan? +
Absolutely. You can change your plan at any time. Founding member pricing is locked in for your original tier — upgrades reflect current pricing for the higher tier.
What areas do you serve? +
Dr. Rodgers is currently licensed in Colorado, Texas, Florida, Utah, and Illinois, with the ability to expand to additional states. Messaging-based support and virtual consultations are available to members in all licensed states. In-home visits are currently offered in Northern Colorado (Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and surrounding areas).
